Brought my car here for an inspection when selling it at the buyer's request. The inspection took 4 hours instead of the quoted 2 hours. Once the results came back, they hadn't even run all the tests they were hired and paid to do! Had to bring the car back in so that they could finish the work they should have done in the first place, but dropped the car off this time and used their "shuttle" to get home. When the vehicle was ready for pickup, it took 3 days of trying to arrange the shuttle before I just had someone drop me off, because the first day they were about to let their people go home early, the second day was an excuse that didn't make much sense to me, and then they told me they dropped the shuttle off for maintenance and didn't know when they would get it back... Rediculous! After all of this headache, I sold the vehicle because the tests came back okay, but the buyer immediately had an expensive repair come up that the inspections and testing should have easily detected the problem and I could have had it fixed under warrantee, now the buyer is out a few thousand dollars for no reason! I do not recommend this place to anyone and I will never trust my car to them.
Mr Fox, We apologize sincerely for the issues that arose with the shuttle service. Our shuttle driver leaves at 5:00pm if no shuttles are scheduled for the evening. He frequently and willing stays past 5pm if he knows someone needs to be dropped off or picked up. We had not planned/expected you wanting to be picked up that evening...our fault. We did perform the two compression and leak down tests you asked us to perform which came back in a normal range. We are happy to provide you a written certificate and documented proof (dated pictures of the test results). You did the right amount of due diligence when selling the car to the buyer. Engine issues do happen without warning and suddenly. At the time the car was in our shop, there was not an engine issue for the warranty company to cover. Another shop could have fabricated an issue to do the warranty work. We would not..did not! We are never going to generate an artificial issue. We do wish the buyer the best and once he gets the car running, we hope he enjoys it. Al the best, H1 Team
