Took 3 hours to get my vehicle diagnosed had to call them myself to find out they had even looked at it. They determined I needed a new alternator which is correct and what I came in for, but then tried to charge me $1100 for a refurbished alternator plus labor. Anyone who knows anything about cars will agree that is an outlandish price, especially considering the vehicle was a Toyota, that price is insane. I was then able to get a “military discount” and they took $400 off the price which I highly doubt is because of a discount, they just knew I wasn’t going to get overcharged. I would’ve gone to a different shop but I had to get the vehicle done that day because I would be stranded if it wasn’t and had no way to go and get my own alternator so I had to accept their price of 793 which is still super expensive just for an alternator replacement. A new alternator for my vehicle is $150 so there’s no reason they should be charging $400 for a refurbished model. I then called them after another 2 hours of no word (alternator shouldn’t take more than an hour to install) and they then informed me that the alternator was bad so I wouldn’t be able to get a new one until the next day. Refurbished alternators are tested before being sold so it’s very rare for that to happen. They then told me that it wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow. I bitched at them until they told me they were going to work as quickly as possible on it. Miraculously, they were able to get a “different” one in (I doubt they even put one in and they were lying when they said it wouldn’t be in until tomorrow.) within 40 minutes of last calling them. Terrible experience overall and one of the worst shops I’ve ever been to. I have a Mercedes AMG and have had major engine work done on it and paid the same price as they tried to charge me for a simple alternator replacement. Would not recommend anyone to go here unless they are okay with paying an arm and leg for small maintenance

A price found online for a part alone is not directly comparable to a complete repair performed by a professional repair facility with parts and labor included. In this case, the first replacement alternator supplied to us failed testing. That is exactly why we test replacement parts before and during installation. Once we were notified that the part was defective, we worked to obtain another unit and completed the repair as quickly as possible. We did not fabricate a parts delay or install a different alternator while telling you otherwise. We also provided a $400 military discount because we appreciate your service. That discount was genuine and was not created to make the original price appear higher. We understand that needing a vehicle repaired the same day can make an already stressful situation even more frustrating. We always want our customers to understand what they are paying for and why.
