First they tell us $90 to bleed the brakes and run a diagnostic "we'll call you on Saturday" - Monday the diagnostic has not been run when we go check - when we go to pick it up it's on a lift - they want $170 for bleeding the brakes and the diagnostic - after reminding them what they told us when it was dropped off the got says of that's right we weren't able to bleed the brakes!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? You just tried to charge me for work you never even did!!! The repair $700 - would you have even replaced the part it I let you change it??? The best part? Driving my truck home the lug nuts were never tightened!!! When we called to see why? Like there's a good reason - he said we never took the tire off- so you never did that safety check with every diagnostic either did you!!!!! BEWARE!!! They don't care if they kill you LITERALLY

Elisabeth, this is a tough response for us to write. We always want to talk to our customers and to make sure they are satisfied and correct any issue. In this case, when a customer (your SO) threatens one of our employees with assault over the phone, we back away not to inflame the situation. Thus we will give you our response here. As you know, your Significant Other had personally worked on the brakes and there was a lingering problem he thought a brake flush would correct the issue. Also the ABS light was on. We said we run several diagnostic tests to determine the root issue and we would get back to him with our results. After we did our testing, the ABS and braking issues were electrical, not mechanical and doing a brake flush would have been an unnecessary expense. Thus, we never pulled the wheels off and thus had no reason to check how tight the lug nuts were. When we pull off a wheel, a second tech must check the work of the first tech and they take pictures of the torque applied as a safety measure. Any loose nuts were previous work done. We recommended an engine control module which was declined. We apologize for any confusion on when the GMC would be ready. We own that communication gap. We wish you the best with your vehicle. My truck wouldn't start after I filled it at the station next door. A couple of nice guys helped me push it to Honest-1. They got me right in, explained what was wrong and what others diagnose the problem too be. Saved me over $100.00 by being honest. Great stag and crew. Highly recommend.
