⭐️ 1/5 — Not as honest as the name. Would NOT recommend. I went to Honest-1 Auto Care in Ormond Beach because my minivan’s brakes suddenly became very soft, and safety is always my top concern. Unfortunately, this shop turned out to be the opposite of “Honest.” From the first minute, the front desk staff kept interrupting me every few seconds. It felt like they weren’t listening at all — only trying to make me feel like I “don’t understand cars” and that I should blindly trust them. They promised a diagnostic and estimate the next morning. But the next day: • Morning call ➝ “Diagnostic not started yet.” • Near noon ➝ “We started, but no results yet. It takes time.” • Later ➝ Still nothing. Because having no car is extremely inconvenient, I finally took a taxi to the shop myself — only to find out my vehicle had not even been touched. No inspection. No updates. No apology. Just “We’re busy.” The front desk manager, Liza, treats customers with zero respect. If you want to experience what it feels like to be treated like trash, go talk to her. I ended up taking my car back without them doing anything. My conclusion: This shop is not honest, despite the name. Definitely do NOT recommend.

Your vehicle arrived with the hood open, a broken caliper bolt, no brake pedal after attempting to bleed the brakes yourself, and worn pads and rotors. This required a full brake safety inspection, not a quick check. At drop-off, our advisor explained that we already had eight diagnostics ahead of you and that we might get to it later that day, but it would most likely be the next morning. That expectation was clearly communicated and documented. When you arrived unannounced later that day, your vehicle was still in the queue exactly as explained. No one refused service, and no promises were broken. We also reviewed the interaction with our team and did not find any behavior matching what was described. We understand being without a car is frustrating, but safety-related inspections must be done correctly and in order.
