First clue NOT to use this place is in their name, “Honest”. If a business has to tell you that they’re “Honest”, it’s a warning. Female Receptionist is extremely rude, talks to Costumers with no respect. She speaks with a nasty attitude. Had brought car in for “Diagnostic” for a Faulty Purge Valve, they couldn’t figure it out, I had to Diagnose the problem myself. They replaced the valve, paid invoice, and left. 3 weeks later, the problem comes back. But, I learned the first time that they are not real bright here, so I took it to Auto Solutions Of Ormond, where they fixed the problem and where kind enough to discount their work for me because of how I was treated and robbed by “Honest” One. Beware of this place....

Had some brake noise coming from my car so I took it here, they got me in the same day and were able to find out what was wrong in just a couple hours. My service advisor Liz was so great, instead of trying to sell me brakes she said all I need was a few parts and to clean and adjust them. Everyone there was so pleasant to deal with and really lived up to the name. I highly recommend

Replaced the front brake rotors on time and reasonably priced.

Honest-1 Auto is very upfront and very detailed with whatever is wrong with your vehicle they will not over price they will not replace parts that do not need to be replaced they will address the issue and they will accommodate your schedule so you are not without your vehicle very long I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest mechanic

They wanted to charge 1600 for a battery and starter. The shop 3 blocks away wanted less than half that price. Maybe if I'm in a War of the Worlds situation and all the lectronics have been blown and I need a 80's model van I'll swing by

Recently went to this business to have my air conditioner checked and repaired. We were told we had to leave the vehicle and be called as soon as the diagnostic was completed. Over an hour later we were called. We returned to the shop and was told it has a leak in the system and may have other areas of leakage. Only running a dye would tell. We were charged $167 to be told you have a leak. Also was told the repair would be $305, with no indication of where the leak was found. I went to a different shop. The leak was found on the top of the engine next to location that the gauge was connected, IN 3 MINUTES! No other leaks found. Repair took 20 minutes along with recharging the air conditioner. The total was $124. The air conditioner works like new. The mechanic has been in business over 50 years. He said that what Honest1auto did was unethical and that they should be ashamed to operate like that. That was an eye opener. Maybe they should rename the business to Dishonest1auto care.

I should have read the reviews. It’s all or nothing. Love them or hate them. I came in to check engine light and abs light on. I know the abs is an abs control module. It’s previously diagnosed at another shop that has closed. But after $175 dollars in testing I’m told that it’s the abs module and there are no parts and no eta. And the check engine light is “just an epa thing that costs too much to smoke test it. So just drive with it on. It’s not hurting anything.” Thank you for taking my money and literally doing nothing. I also asked them to check my front brake pads to see if it was time for brakes, I was told by the not so helpful woman at counter “I don’t see where they did that” thank you again. Why is it so hard to find a place that actually cares and will take care of your needs. Not just take your money?
